Mission Statement

The Monterey Bay Swimming Association is dedicated to supporting those who wish to undertake marathon and ultra-marathon swims in the Monterey Bay. The MBSA is available to observe and sanction swims and is dedicated to the safety, integrity, and accurate documentation of these swims and to preserve the traditions of marathon swimming by following internationally recognized rules and standards.
